Guidelines for Digital Photo Used as Photo ID
A recent (2X2 inch) color photo of applicant with an active Justice of the Peace (JP) Declaration that reads on the reverse side of the photo: “I certify that this is the true likeness of __________ and I have personally known him/ her for ________ years.”Note: Applicant’s photo must bear the JP’s name, signature and stamp.
Requirements:
In color Size: 2 x 2 inches Taken within the last six months to reflect current appearance. Taken in front of a plain white or blue background with no objects visible Taken in full face view directly facing the camera Displays the top of the hair, bottom of the chin to the top of the shoulders. Taken without head covering that obscures the hair or hairline unless worn daily for religious purposes. The full face must be visible, and the head covering must not cast any shadows on the face Taken without hearing aid device unless it is normally worn. Taken without headphones, wireless hands-free device, or similar items. Taken with a neutral facial expression with both ears exposed and both eyes
Card Validity
For Born Belizean, Naturalized Belizean, Permanent Residence of Belize, CARICOM National (Holder of CSME Qualifying Certificate & Indefinite Entry Stay Stamp): Cards issued to dependent children, under age fourteen (14), are not valid for employment and expire on the day before their 14th birthday. Cards issued to persons, fourteen (14) years and older are valid for employment and do not bear an expiration date. For CARICOM National (W/ Definite Entry Stay Stamp), Condition Stamp Holder, Refugee Card Holder, Special Permit Holder w/ Condition Stamp, Temporary Employment Permit Holder, and Temporary Resident Permit Holder: All Cards issued are valid for employment and expire on the same day a
