She is responsible for all housekeeping management at Ophelia’s Villa. lda loves to cook, especially birthday cakes, and is a trusted childcare provider. Please let her know what you need as she strives to ensure the villa exceeds your expectations. Ida has lived in Placencia for over 16 years and has held a variety of hospitality jobs on the peninsula. She loves to cook, bake, and spend time with her family on boat rides. She says Placencia offers the best beaches in Belize. Ida enjoys finding the best produce, and prices, from vendors. Her advice is to find a local tour operator and try something new in Belize.
Meet Luti
He is the landscaping extraordinaire at Ophelia’s Villa. He literally plants dead branches in the ground and they grow. We are also happy to have him as our property manager. He ensures everything is working and ready for your visit. Don’t hesitate to let him know what you need during your stay at the villa. Luti is from Maya Center and he loves sports and birding! Ask him how many birds he can recognize. He has spent his entire life on farms and has a deep knowledge of fruits and plants. He also enjoys cooking and spent 5 years as a chef. He enjoys making Callaloo, a local dish, and stewed chicken. He highly recommends Doyle Gardiner as the best guide if you want to explore the Cockscomb Ba
