To apply to Galen University for a semester abroad, prospective international students are required to: Fill out the Galen University application form For students applying to the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program – pay your Trent tuition Other students need to pay the tuition and fee in USD Application Package for International Semester Abroad Student: Copy of an Official Transcript Copy of Passport $ 60 USD application Fee 2 recent passport photographs – 2″ x 2″ dimension An Academic reference – 1 letter of recommendation from a faculty member, academic advisor, dean of your program For semester abroad, Galen University will apply for the student visa on the students behalf. The fees are: $ 200 BZD, approximately $68 CAD. The requirements are as follows: Letter from the institution of study (to be provided by Galen University) Letter of Financial Support (to be provided by Galen University) 2 recent passport photographs – 2″x2″ dimension Birth Certificate Letter of Authority (this is only required if you are below the age of 18) Passport (Please ensure that you have at least 6 months validity on your passport before traveling – as required by the US State department for international travel. Your passport will be submitted to the Belize Immigration Department and a stud Safe and comfortable accommodations within the twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena. San Ignacio and Santa Elena are 15 minutes from Galen Campus. Airport pick-up and drop off by Galen University and transfer to San Ignacio and Santa Elena Towns Day-to-day transportation – public transit
