This restaurant was absolutely phenomenal for the area! We stayed in Placencia for 4 days and none of the meals even came close in comparison. We chose this restaurant per the local recommendation to celebrate my husbandβs birthday and it was so incredible. The resort is beautiful, the security guard was extremely helpful and friendly and the entire restaurant staff were amazing. Prices were great and not a single drop of food or drink was left. We highly recommend the ceviche, seafood tamale, house salad and chicken parm (the names are not the same on the menu, but the description should help)!

The location and dΓ©cor are absolutely stunning β chic, refined, and very calm, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. The service was excellent: attentive, professional, and genuinely listening to guests, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding. I had the herb-crusted snapper, which was delicious, and my husband ordered the shrimp and callaloo linguine β it was a real delight. I highly recommend this place.

This place is gorgeous! Such a lovely view while you dine. Our server Marco was the best! Excellent service and very attentive to our needs. The ceviche is very good. The smoked red bell pepper soup is a must have. The 1981 shrimp dish is great. Only reason I couldnβt go with 5 stars is that they were out of fish, and about half their menu is fish so everything we had looked forward to ordering we were unable to get. Still a nice experience though.

Beautiful restaurant inside Naia resort. Loved 1981 ceviche appetizer. Presented in coconut shell and served with 3 different kinds of chips. Fresh and delicious. For entree, lobster tail with traditional garlic butter was really good. It was cooked perfectly. However the special dish of the day was not so good. Tamarind pork, calamari, prawns with papaya slaw and potato wedges. Sounds good but only prawns tasted good and burre blanc was not done well. If you stay with ceviche (both conch carpaccio and 1981 ceviche were excellent), lobster tail, you will have a great dinner experience. Staff were so friendly! Our server Caesar was professional and food came out pretty fast.

First off, service was fantastic, everyone was so kind and nice. Atmosphere is amazing, they have indoor seating with AC or outdoor seating with mosquitoes. The food was good, but nothing amazing. Some of it was just dry and not a ton of flavor. Although the lobster was fantastic! Iβd go there more for the experience not for the food. Prices about $20-40 USD per plate. The chocolate lava cake dessert was so yummy!
