The first ATM don take international card, so the first time I went, I stress out I little, it’s my Airnb host that went with me the second time and told me that, so if you are from outside Belize, go too the second ATM

I drove from an hour away to get to the Placencia branch before its 3 p.m. closing to make a deposit before the weekend. I arrived at 2:45 -- to find it closed. Now I'll have to make the two-hour round trip again on Monday. I've also been waiting on a customer service issue involving $1200 for a month. Have called multiple times, but not even a return call, much less an answer. Very disappointed in how Atlantic Bank treats its customers.

We had such great service from this bank. The security guard is so helpful here. He twice made sure that we were able to use the ATM properly and that we were ok. The staff at the counter were lovely and really nice organising some US dollars for our onward trip to Honduras. It was a straightforward and easy process as we had already brought our passports with us. Thanks to everyone at the bank who helped us.

In order to get US$ from the Beluze Bank in Palencia, I had to make three visits from the place where we were staying a half kilomeer away due to being given different information on each visit. Visit 1 ATM outside the bank only dispened Bz$, so went into the bank and presented my debit card. Was told that I would need to prent my passport and travel utinerary. So back to my lodging to get these. Visit 2 Am now told that I can't use my Debit card and that I can only use Visa. It turns out that the ATM outside the bank accepts my Debit card and I return with Bz$. I am now told that my itinerary is not acceptable even though it has my flight departure details on it. I need to provide an air departure ticket. The Immigration officer on entry accepted my itinerary as good enough, but not the bank. So back once again to my lodging to get such airline travel details as I have. Visit 3 I finally get my US$ after a long process with mutitudinous forms being filled in.A
