Laid-back lodging with traditional rooms, plus a restaurant/bar, a play area & breakfast.
Had a quick coffee stop. Service and environment was good. Will stay a next time.

The room was nice and clean, cold AC. The bathroom was the problem. The bathtub was dirty and was not cleaned and sanitized. The Toilet was clean as well as the sink. I guess they forgot to clean the tub.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. My husband ordered a t-bone steak with rice and beans, the waiter comes back says tge cook says no t-bone steak, my husband then says, which our party of 3 heard, substitute with fry chicken. When the food arrives 30 mins later they bring him fry chicken and fries. He tells the waiter I did not order fries my side was rice and beans. The waiter rolls her eyes and says you ordered fries. Starts arguing with us. She goes back to the cook comes back and says we can give you the rice and beans but you have to pay the fries. Never to say least we were visiting home after 5 years and wanted a place with AC. Worst decision to have come here. No Ac and worst customer service ever. And the food was no even worth the effort 😒 😞

Basic, but clean, comfortable and well run for the most part. There are very limited hotel options in Belmopan, the Bull Frog is a decent choice. Food is surprisingly good and fast. The ladies at the restaurant and front desk are lovely. Fridge, microwave, kettle in room. The only limitations are that it's very basic (e.g. plastic desk/chairs, powdered milk for coffee, etc.), and the management didn't bother to notify guests that they were completely shutting down and locking up many hours before a hurricane hit (no problem, but let guests know in advance so they can plan).

I have stayed at the Bullfrog several times. The first time was in April 1990. The success they have had has provided them the capitol to expand and grow. Every time I go there I have a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is the best kept secret in Belize. Whether it is the fruit plate for breakfast or the baked chicken the food there is always prepared just right. The staff there always treats you like you were a long lost friend coming home to visit.
