Comida Rey

One of the best gems on the island! The food is amazing!!! The owners and staff are some of the nicest people on earth and very accommodating. There are so many amazing food options to choose from, but I can’t get enough of their Cubanos. I think my son and I had 20 on our last visit and it wasn’t enough! The nuclear rum punches will get you where you need to go, as well! They will be back open in October as it is common for restaurants to shut down temporarily until peak season. Can’t say enough good things about this place! See you soon Comida Rey peeps.

This was probably my favorite restaurant we visited during our week here. The rum punch was good and the food was freshly prepared. I had the Philly and it was good. Worth the golf cart ride.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Comida Rey Restaurant on San Pedro Island in Belize, and it was an absolute delight! We tried their cheesesteak pizza, which was a fantastic fusion of flavors—perfectly cheesy with a hearty, Philly-inspired twist that left us craving more. The pulled pork was another standout, tender and packed with smoky goodness that made every bite a treat. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service friendly, and the food came out fresh and delicious. If you’re on San Pedro and looking for a spot that nails both creativity and taste, Comida Rey is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! Marvin, who was both our bartender and server, was super friendly and attentive. He recommended the Watermelon Basil Mojito, and it was absolutely delicious—refreshing with just the right balance of flavors. My wife and I shared the Cuban sandwich, which was fantastic, and we also tried the pizza. The pizza was so good that we brought some back to our hotel, and it traveled well, still tasting amazing the next day. Highly recommend this spot for great food, friendly service, and a relaxing vibe!

Great place off the beaten path. We stumbled upon this place after trying to eat at another establishment. Amazing service, food, and atmosphere. Pizza was absolutely amazing as well as the pizza sub and caesar salad.
