Europe Drinks is a really pleasant spot with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect if you want to enjoy a relaxed meal by the sea. The atmosphere is simple but charming, and the prices are surprisingly low considering the location. We had nachos and quesadillas—nothing overly fancy, but absolutely delicious and well-made. Sometimes simple dishes done right are all you need, and this place delivers exactly that. Eating with a sea view at such affordable prices makes it even better. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for good food, a nice vibe, and excellent value for money.

I really wanted to like this place because the people — especially the bartender — were incredibly friendly and personable, and the location itself is lovely. Unfortunately, the food completely missed the mark. They were out of hamburgers, which wouldn’t have been a huge issue if we had been told upfront. Instead, it took quite a while before we were informed. The chicken “burger” was not really a burger at all — more like a small chicken sandwich. The portion was tiny, closer to slider-sized, with very little chicken, and it was badly overcooked and dry. The vegetarian “burger” was honestly shocking. There was no patty of any kind — just a bun with a single piece of iceberg lettuce, one slice of tomato, two small red onion rings, a thin slice of avocado, an American cheese slice, and mayonnaise and mustard. It felt thrown together and was simply gross. Food also took a long time to come out, which was surprising given that there were very few customers at the time. When we were asked how everything was, we shared our feedback politely and honestly. It was received kindly, but nothing was done to address the issues. A nice setting can’t make up for food this disappointing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

For starters, the owners of the bar took us in and made us feel like we were their prodigal children. Liliana hasn’t yet been confirmed by the Church into Sainthood but she is well on her way. English is not her first language but being the darling she is she exhausts her entire English vocabulary to take us in and make us feel like we’ve known one another for years. Her husband Simon has the swagger of Tony Bourdain and is a man of few words(in English), but has a warm smile. A glass of whiskey and a cigarette with this man will make you feel like you were invited to the coolest kids lunch table in high school. Leonel the bartender makes a killer cocktail, knows his stuff and is the easiest person to talk to. This guy embodies what it is to be Belizean, warm, welcoming and laid back. I’ll miss his big smile and insightful outlook on life, a true man of his craft. Their $5(BE) rum and cokes cannot be beat. Their menu while not extensive is all freshly prepared and tastes like you’ve come home for the holidays. I cannot say enough about the people that own and work at this establishment. If you hate human connection, making fast friends, cheap drinks, and an atmosphere of joy stay away. If any of those things are on your list in San Pedro. Stop looking, you found it here. P.S. they’ve just opened up their upstairs portion of the establishment which Simon built himself and it is extremely impressive. Awesome vibe, great seating and stellar views. Don’t miss out.

Absolutely amazing: fresh catch fish, crispy fries, and creamy coconut rice, superb service, lots of locals putting off a great vibe, beautifully breezy porch just feet from the water, all at very reasonable prices.

Generally speaking, I find reasonably priced beachfront restaurants aren't that great. But I found the chicken sandwich at Europe Drinks to be quite tasty. It was hand breaded and fried and came with a house mayo and ketchup on a fresh bun. The portion of fries could have been bigger but the taste was on point.
