Needed fresh veggies (hard to find in Central America) and this is a good place for it, vegetable chop suey is good. Takeout only and the service is a bit unusual, you order through the window because the door is locked, I was told it’s been that way since COVID.

Was at the supermarket and asked casher where to go for Fried chicken takeout. All the shacks were not open between 3-4pm. Casher told me to go to this restaurant. I followed googlemap but I could not find this takeout joint because I have never thought this place was in an actual building. Lots of locals called in advance and were picking up takeout orders. Inside the restaurant was full of supplies and they only deal with take out orders through the window as if this was still a covid time. No Dine In. Fried chicken & fried rice($5 usd) Beef Chop Suey($8.5 usd) were more than enough for two people. Price was really good, food was fresh. I loved my Chop Suey had tons of veggies & sauce was tasty. I understand why there were many locals picking up food through the windown at 4pm( not lunch or dinner time) & I wish I had known this place at the beginning of my trip. Went back again the next day around 7pm. There were like 3-4 locals waiting for takeout. My singapole noodles orders took about 25 min. Singapole noodles with curry sauce($11 usd) had beef, chicken, pork & shrimp and it was fantastic. Shared between two people.

There's not many Chinese options around here so I'm grateful for this place! My go-to is the shrimp chow mein and I add some version of soy sauce they have (might have teriyaki in it) 🤌 My guy gets the fried chicken with fried rice each time and adds steak sauce.

Good fried rice, but the chicken chow mein was bland. No spices or even soy sauce that I could tell. And sweet and sour seems to be the only choice of sauce. No Garlic, Genrl Yang, sesame, honey walnut, etc. Take out only from a very small side window. No menu online either
