Ice and Beans Café

Ice & Beans quickly became our favorite morning spot for coffee and breakfast. My kids were obsessed with the bubble waffles and mini donuts, and we loved the fresh squeezed juices and smoothie bowls. Everything felt fresh and made with care. One of the best parts was sitting out back on the beach and enjoying the view while we ate. Such a great, relaxed way to start the day. Just a heads up, it’s cash only, so come prepared. We’ll definitely be back next time!

I had such a great experience at Ice and Beans Cafe on Caye Caulker, Belize. The owners and staff are absolutely wonderful and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. They even remembered my name from day one, which made coming back every morning feel extra special. The coffee is excellent, the little donuts are dangerously good, and the sandwiches and food are always fresh and delicious. But what really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. The staff genuinely care, the vibe is relaxed and friendly, and the location is perfect. You can chill in a hammock with your coffee and just enjoy the sunshine. I ended up coming here every single morning during my stay, and it quickly became my favorite spot on the island. Hands down the nicest café around, and a place I’d happily return to again and again.

We received a warm welcome as soon as we walked in with a sample of ice late and warm donuts! Great menu and I enjoyed my avocado toast and smoothie and my partner had the bacon and egg sandwich on very fresh whole wheat bread. Best location on the beach with picnic tables or a bar in the shade with a breezy stunning view! Thanks for the hospitality 🙏 keep up the enthusiasm

The owner was super helpful in navigating the gluten and dairy free options. The vegan soft serve ice cream is the best! The smoothie bowls are loaded with gluten free granola. They didn’t have gluten free bread but I got a breakfast sandwich on a lettuce wrap with coconut cheese. The coffee with honey ginger add on is delicious too! The owner is from Vancouver Canada and really is versed in excellent customer service! A must stop in Caye Caulker located near the boat ferry on the ocean.

This is an incredible restaurant with something for everyone. They are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free friendly. Everything was very healthy and delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful, it sits right on the beach in the main part of town so it is easy to get to from everywhere. They open up earlier than anyone else so it's a great place to come, get your coffee and just hang out. They also had hammocks and beach chairs where people could enjoy their food. All the workers were incredibly friendly and they even remembered my my kids names! They also have a loyalty program where you buy nine drinks on the 10th is free. Our family was only there 3 days but we definitely got that free drink because they were so good! Delicious fruit, smoothies, coffee, sandwiches, etc.
