Island Queen

I don't know where those posted photos came from but they have no resemblance to the place we found this evening. The restaurant portion was not operational -- they have no cook, and the bar/pool room looked highly questionable.

Really excellent - a mix of authentic local food and stuff like cheeseburgers. Big portions, tasty food, reasonable price. I recommend.

One of the best meals we have had so far on this island. We had 1-dollar Wings, grilled whole fish, grilled lobster tail. Everything was so fresh and tasty, even the rice and beans. Restaurant was quiet and clean. Service was attentive. Definitely a hidden gem. They said they just reopened about a month ago because of the pandemic, which explained why they were not that popular as some other places. Definitely recommend it.

So far best Cevice we had in the past 10 days in Belize. Big chunks of seafood and not mostly tomato like in other places... Today we had a whole snapper. Fresh and well seasoned... Service is friendly and attentive. Prices are fair. 5 Stars for value and quality.
