If you find yourself in Caye Caulker in desperate need of a Piña Colada, Mai Tai, Panty Ripper, or honestly just temporary freedom from responsibility, then The Lazy Lizard at The Split is THE place to be. My friends and I spent hours here floating in the cool Caribbean water with drink after drink in hand, slowly losing track of time, basic decision-making skills, and possibly our dignity. At one point I’m pretty sure our entire group collectively decided we lived there now. The atmosphere is absolutely perfect, music playing, people laughing, crystal-clear water, tropical drinks flowing like hydration wasn’t even pretending to be the goal anymore. It’s basically adult summer camp, except instead of arts and crafts you’re aggressively reapplying sunscreen while holding a frozen cocktail. And let me tell you… those Piña Coladas? Dangerous. Not “call 911” dangerous, but definitely “suddenly ordering another one while saying ‘we’re on vacation’ for the fourth time” dangerous. Whether you want to swim, float around, hang with friends, day drink responsibly-ish, or just stare out at the Caribbean pretending you don’t have bills back home, this is absolutely the spot. 10/10 would happily become one with the Caribbean Sea and a blender full of rum again.

I came here for the food, music and the vibes and none of that disappointed! You're able to lounge out on the dock on some chairs, or if you want to sit at a table in the shade, or if you'd like to do both and sit in a table in the water all of tha is available. They have a high platform where you can jump into the water, food, and drinks were great. Highly recommend the pink pussy my favorite! Whole grilled lobster and fried snapper were amazing!

7 blz for a local beer. not bad given the location. water surrounding this area has small schools of fish that you can watch play while you drink. an enjoyable few hours.

A great place. Food was good. Beer was cold and the drinks were great. A perfect view of the water. Many people swimming and having a great time. I wish I went sooner.

Great place to visit. Swimming, diving platform, plenty of shaded seating. And free WIFI.
