Your public agent profile is the page at /agents/your-slug. Buyers find it from the brokerage directory, from search engines, and from any listing where you've been credited as the agent. Self-edit is enabled the moment your account email matches an Agent record we already track.
Who can edit a public profile
You can edit a profile if the email on your forsale.bz account matches the email on that profile (case-insensitive). No exceptions — the match is the only thing that authorizes the edit.
- If you don't see your profile under /agents, you don't have a public profile yet — that's fine, you can still run ads.
- If you see your profile but the email on it is wrong (it happens — we scraped a lot of brokerage sites), send us a feedback note via the floating button and we'll correct it.
How to open the editor
- Sign in and open /dashboard.
- A card will be visible near the top showing your photo, name, and brokerage — that's your matched public profile. Click Edit profile.
- You'll land on /dashboard/agent-profile with a form pre-filled with your current public values.
What you can edit
- Headline — title (e.g. "Lead Advisor Placencia") and bio.
- Contact — phone, website, photo URL.
- Specialties & coverage — specialties, languages, areas served.
- Social — Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter / X.
What you can't edit
Your name, slug, email, and brokerage assignment are read-only. The email is the key we match on. The slug is the public URL (changing it would break inbound links). Brokerage moves need admin review — send us a feedback note and we'll move you over.
When changes appear
Changes save to your profile immediately. The public agent listing page caches for an hour for speed; your edits show up there within a few minutes on most CDN paths and within an hour at worst.
Photo URLs
We don't host new photo uploads from the editor yet — paste in a URL to a publicly hosted image. If your brokerage has a CDN, that works. So does an S3 bucket or any public image host. The photo should be a roughly square headshot for the avatars to look right.
