Agent accounts on forsale.bz add the advertiser dashboard on top of everything a regular account can do — favorites, saved lists, claiming listings. You can convert at any time; nothing about your saved data changes.
Step 1 — Create an account
If you don't already have one, head to forsale.bz/sign-up and finish the standard sign-up. Use the email address you actually want associated with your agent profile — it's the same address we use for instant-claim and edit-public-profile matching.
Step 2 — Convert to an agent account
Once you're signed in, your dashboard shows a yellow banner that says "Are you a real estate agent?". Click it.
- Open Dashboard → "Are you a real estate agent?" banner (or go directly to /dashboard/become-advertiser).
- Optionally fill in a display name, phone, and website. All three are optional and you can edit them later from the campaign builder.
- Click Convert my account. We immediately route you to the new advertiser hub at /dashboard/advertiser.
What changes after conversion
You can run ad campaigns and top up credits. Everything you already had (favorites, saved lists, listing claims) keeps working untouched.
Step 3 — If your email matches a public profile we already have
If we'd already imported you from a brokerage site (the directory at /agents), the system auto-links your account to that profile during conversion. You'll see your photo and brokerage on the dashboard right away, and you can edit your public profile directly — see How to edit your public agent profile.
- We match on your verified primary email, not anything you type into a form — there's no way for someone else to hijack your profile.
- If you should have a public profile but the auto-link didn't trigger, send us a feedback message from the floating button — we'll fix the email on your Agent record.
